"The West" responds by creating "IP" laws that favour it and then pressurises said developing countries to respect them. Call me cynical but put simply:

If this is referring to them securing their data behind firewalls or with passwords on their own computers that's fine. If it means installing software on devices that I own that override control of those devices then I have a big problem with that. I'm a law abiding citizen and I expect to be treated as such. If a copyright holder's rights are infringed he has a legal recourse. What recourse do I have if I my rights under exsisting law are overriden by technical means?
